You are cordially invited to join us for the
CSME-CFDSC-CSR 2025 International Congress
École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)
Montréal (QC), May 25-28, 2025
On behalf of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME), the Computational Fluid Dynamics Society of Canada (CFDSC) and the Canadian Society of Rheology (CSR), we are delighted to announce the CSME-CFDSC-CSR 2025 International Congress, a joint conference to be held in the vibrant downtown Montréal (QC) campus of École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) on May 25-28, 2025.
This annual conference represents an exciting opportunity for the mechanical engineering, CFD and rheology communities in Canada and abroad. Students, professors, industry leaders and government research staff will come together to exchange their latest research results, foster new research collaborations and build a strong sense of community.
With growing interest in the CSME, CFDSC and CSR communities, we have the pleasure to announce that we have accepted over 600 abstract and full-article submissions for oral presentations for the CSME, CFDSC and CSR Symposia and we expect to welcome a record-high 700 congress participants this year. The registration system is now open and presenters are kindly asked to register by March 31st. The traditional Conference Banquet will be held in the beautiful Old Port of Montréal.
New this year is the opportunity of stronger involvement for industrial partners in the technical program to highlight current needs and challenges in the broad mechanical engineering discipline. As well, lab tours at ÉTS research facilities and student clubs will be organized for interested congress participants.
The three Canadian Societies will run student paper competitions and dedicated Special Issues are also available post-congress for submitted congress papers.
The proceedings of the conference will be published on the ÉTS online archive.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) – Attendance/participation in the technical sessions of the conference will qualify for up to 15 hours of professional development for which a certificate will be issued upon request following the conference. Additionally, attendance in the industrial workshops that are organized post-congress will also qualify for professional development hour credits.
We would like to acknowledge the congress sponsors and we enthusiastically look forward to seeing you in Montréal next May!
